<aside> 💡 It’s possible to change supervisors later, if your crew advances or gets too many strikes. Support, Pressure, and Values all play into how easily it is to advance or get strikes.

Support: Low (3)
Pressure: High (8)
Values: Cruelty, ruthlessness, quantity
Proton is desperate to impress his superiors, but he’s terrible at leadership. You will be one of his first squads. He doesn’t know how to give guidance or support, and his ambitions take priority over your safety. He’ll make you do pretty much everything and then swoop in to take the credit.
Petrel does have a selling point—he’s fiercely loyal to the people he cares about. He’s infinitely more useful as a friend than an enemy.
Choose One Crew Ability:
Machiavellian. You have +1d to rolls to scare or intimidate people and Pokémon.
Get Even. Once per mission, when one of you takes harm, Proton can neutralize the threat that caused the harm, typically in a violent way, at no cost.
Support: High (6)
Pressure: Low (3)
Values: Found family, worksite safety, quality
Petrel has been doing this for so long, he really doesn’t care anymore. Many higher-ups wonder how he’s even still employed—what deal has he struck with Archer and Ariana? Or is he actually more capable than he lets on? Petrel treats his squads like family, but he’d never pressure them to go the extra mile. They’re always under threat of being disbanded.
Choose One Crew Ability:
Relax. The crew can take one extra downtime activity between missions.
Pass the Concealer. For 2 Coin, Petrel can completely wipe your heat. If he uses this ability, he can’t use it again until you level up.
Debt is how much money you owe after borrowing money. It works similarly to “stress” in vanilla Blades, except it’s a group value. If you exceed your debt threshold, you get a strike.
Debt Threshold is equal to 3 x Number of Players + Support
EXP Threshold is equal to 5 x Number of Players - Pressure
Strikes may change the way you play the game. We’ll mark 0 for now.
