If you have a good rapport with your supervisor, they may assist you in your investigation. They won’t go on the mission with you, though. They have better things to do than babysit grunts.
During the investigation phase, you’re searching for information that can impact your mission. When you gather information, you can make an appropriate action roll and ask the GM a question about the world. Remember that gathering information takes time. Each character can make one action roll without penalty, but the GM may impose limits or penalties after that. After all, opportunities are fleeting.
As a result of the investigation phase, you can attempt the following:
During the Investigation phase, you must secure a secret weapon from one of the choices below. You must be able to answer the questions to secure the secret weapon. Securing a weapon may require special permission or knowledge.
Each grunt determines the load they’ll be carrying. Light means you can carry up to 3, Normal means you can carry up to 5, and Heavy means you can carry 6+. The items on your character sheet tell you how much load they take up.
