These are the standard issue Pokémon. All grunts get to choose one upon joining Team Rocket. There may be opportunities for you to acquire more Pokémon, by advancing through XP or milestones. You may, at any time between scores, trade your issued Pokémon in for another standard-issue Pokémon.

<aside> 💡 Can My Pokémon Do Something Not Listed Here? Probably! That’s a conversation between you and your GM. A good rule of thumb is: if you’ve seen it happen in the Pokémon canon somewhere, your Pokémon can attempt it with an action roll. I’m not going to stat every last move these dudes have. Zubat is a guy with wings; he can probably use whirlwind if he wants to.

Each Pokémon has several abilities listed under them. The GM may call for an action roll for those marked with a 🎲 . Pokemon Action Rolls use your Grunt’s attribute scores.
